Nathan Brusich, Psy.D.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I grew up in western North Dakota and graduated from Dickinson State University. I obtained my doctoral degree from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia, and completed a year long pre-doctoral internship at the Robert J. Murney Clinic in Springfield, Missouri. My formal training finished with a post-doctoral fellowship at Tulsa Family Development Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
While in my graduate training at Marshall University, I realized the importance of the therapeutic relationship. I believe that true change occurs when a client understands their relationships with important people in his or her life. During a therapy session, I use in-the-moment examples to help clients better understand herself or himself. I specialize in therapy with adults who have experienced trauma or currently experience relationship problems. I also enjoy working with adolescents and adults who wish to improve symptoms of anxiety and depression. Additionally, I am trained in the assessment of neuropsychological, emotional, and behavioral difficulties in children and adolescents.
In my spare time, I root for North Dakota State University's football team and enjoy cooking.
